Recognized for Excellence in Infant and Maternal Health
Henry Community Health and its Women & Children’s Unit have been recognized by the Indiana Hospital Association, for its commitment to infant and maternal health. The INspire Hospital of Distinction recognition program was developed to implement the delivery of best practice care for Hoosier moms and babies and recognize hospitals for excellence in addressing key drivers of infant and maternal health. This is the program’s first year.

Becker’s Hospital Review has again named HCH as one of “100 Great Community Hospitals” on its 2018 list. Becker’s also named HCH as a top 100 Community Hospital in 2016-2019. Hospitals featured on this list play a key role in their communities and are recognized for quality, patient satisfaction and overall excellence.
Advanced Wound Center Recognized With National Award
The Center of Distinction Award has been given to our Advanced Wound Center by Healogics, the nation’s leading and largest wound care management company. The Advanced Wound Center achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months, including patient satisfaction higher than 92 percent, and a wound healing rate of at least 91 percent in less than 31 median days. The Wound Care Center® is a member of the Healogics network of nearly 800 Centers, with access to benchmarking data and proven experience treating approximately 2.5 million chronic wounds The Advanced Wound Center offers highly specialized wound care including hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections and other chronic wounds which have not healed in a reasonable amount of time.
