Patient Satisfaction National Survey Results
Henry Community Health recognizes that patient and family satisfaction with our services is an important part of the care we provide.
As part of our commitment to patient satisfaction and learning how we could improve our care, we participate in a national standardized survey of hospital in-patients. This survey is also referred to as HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems).
The survey was designed by the Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to give consumers a way to compare patient satisfaction scores for different hospitals in their community.
The survey is sent to a randomly selected group of inpatients who are asked to answer questions about their experiences in the hospital, including how well doctors and nurses communicated with them, how clean their rooms were and if their pain was well controlled.
In addition to the HCAHPS survey, Henry Community Health also conducts patient surveys through Press Ganey for inpatient care, outpatient care and in our Emergency Department. We use information to help us improve our services to our patients and their families.
If you receive any of these surveys, we encourage you to complete and return it in the envelope provided.
