Photography
Photography should reflect the Henry Community Health brand’s warmth, authenticity, and community focus. Use imagery that feels approachable and aligns with the organization’s colors and tone.
Photography guidelines
- Choose images that incorporate or complement brand colors. Adjust tones as needed for consistency.
- Use a subtle warm overlay to unify photos and tie into the brand’s yellow-green palette without directly using those colors.
- Favor authentic, candid moments rather than posed or “stock-looking” photos. Avoid subjects staring directly at the camera.
- Use shallow depth of field (blurred backgrounds) to maintain focus on people and to avoid showing specific hospital details when using stock images.
- Whenever possible, feature real Henry Community Health team members.
- All team members must have a signed consent on file with the marketing department.
- All photos used for marketing, including but not limited to patients, families, and team members, (including social media) must be approved by the marketing team.
- People should appear friendly, confident, and approachable.
- Imagery should represent healthcare services accurately and inclusively.
All photography used in any Henry Community Health materials, communications, or platforms must receive prior approval from the marketing department before use. This includes but is not limited to:
- Print materials
- Digital assets
- Website content
- Social media posts
- Internal communications
- Presentations
- Signage
No exceptions will be made to this approval process. Please refer to our social media policy for additional social media guidelines.
Provider photos
Provider photos are presented isolated on a dark blue background.
Cutout style
Use cutouts of team members on clean white backgrounds when appropriate for design consistency. These are used atop the visual pattern backgrounds often for features or testimonials.
Icons
A custom set of icons has been created for service lines and common actions. Use only the approved icon set to maintain visual consistency.
