Sometimes insurance will cover visits and tests. It depends on the diagnoses and the insurance plan. If your insurance doesn’t cover the cost of appointments and treatment, you are responsible for the bill.

You may be able to use money from a Health Savings Plan or from a Flexible Spending Account. There are even scholarships/financial aid for families if well researched. Joining a TACA (Talk About Curing Autism) support group is a helpful way to find such resources.
