Living Better With Diabetes

Let us help you to learn to care for your diabetes whether you are newly diagnosed or have had diabetes for many years. Your provider may refer you to any of these programs or you can refer yourself.

Learn Skills To Manage Your Diabetes

Class sessions focus on diet, medication, psychological aspects, exercise and complications. We encourage you to bring a family member of significant other. Classes are offered monthly once a week for four weeks:

Wednesday, 1 -3 pm

Thursday 5-7 pm

There is a small fee which may be paid for by your insurance if your provider makes a referral for you to the class. You also will receive a free glucose meter.

Individual Counseling

Sessions are offered at no charge by our Certified Diabetes Educator to help you understand, control and live well with diabetes. There is a fee for diet instruction with a Registered Dietitian.

Gestational Diabetes

Women with gestational diabetes may attend regular class sessions or arrange for individual counseling with our Certified Diabetes Educator. There is a small fee for the regular class sessions which may be paid for byyour insurance.
