Dr. Megan Furbee Ash and Dr. Lisa Grooms are joining the Northfield Park office of New Castle Family & Internal Medicine in August. You can make an appointment with them by calling 599-EASY.

“We’re looking forward to caring for the entire family including infants, children, teens and adults,” they both related.

Dr. Ash and Dr. Grooms are board eligible in family medicine and recently completed their family medicine residency at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Dr. Ash graduated from Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Dr. Grooms graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine.

“I’m excited to serve the community where I grew up,” explains Dr. Ash who graduated from New Castle High School. “It gives me joy! I love everything about being here. It’s a really good fit for me,” Dr. Ash continued.

“I was so sure I was going to be a pediatrician when I started medical school, but I realized I would have to stop caring for my patients once they turned 18. I love taking care of people of all ages which is why I chose family medicine. It’s very rewarding to feel like I can help someone,” said Dr. Grooms.

Dr. Grooms grew up in Noblesville and is excited to work in New Castle with Dr. Ash and the staff at New Castle Family & Internal Medicine.
