Ashley N. Razor, FNP-C
I’m a born and raised Hoosier. I grew up in New Castle and graduated from New Castle High School. I then completed my continuing education at Ball State University earning my Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing degrees. My nursing background is primarily Emergency Medicine and in Labor and Delivery, however, my nurse practitioner background is in Family Medicine, seeing patients across the lifespan. In my free time, I love enjoying our community and spending time with family. I am married with one child and they are my world. I am excited to work with such an incredible organization and to care for those in the Henry County communities.
About Ashley N. Razor
Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
I was inspired to continue my education to become a family nurse practitioner, because I wanted more autonomy when caring for my patients and to have more opportunities to provide education and help my patients make more informed decisions regarding their health, because these are some of the most important decisions they will make.
Why did you chose to work at HCH?
I am no stranger to HCH. I worked for several years in the Women and Children’s Unit as a registered nurse. From that experience I knew what a great organization HCH was, so when an opportunity presented itself for me to come back in the nurse practitioner role I knew very quickly that it was the right place for me to be.
