Henry Community Health has established vital partnerships across Henry County to serve the community comprehensively. Our community partnerships would not be possible without the support of the Henry Community Health Foundation.
Second Harvest Food Bank
Our collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank addresses food insecurity among vulnerable families, providing essential nutrition support throughout the county. Four food pantries have been established in Henry County through these efforts. Each month, HCH demonstrates its hands-on commitment by supplying volunteers to Wilbur Wright Elementary School to facilitate the food pantry, ensuring efficient distribution of resources to those in need.
Wilbur Wright Elementary School
Henry Community Health has proudly adopted Wilbur Wright Elementary as its neighborhood school partner, establishing a meaningful connection that benefits local students and their families. The healthcare organization has made significant contributions to enhance the educational environment, including providing funding for new playground equipment that promotes physical activity and recreation. Beyond structural improvements, Henry Community Health has demonstrated its commitment to student well-being by supplying Wilbur Wright students with living essentials such as hats and gloves and basic hygiene products like soap, shampoo, and deodorant, ensuring that basic health needs are met. This partnership exemplifies how local institutions can work together to support child development and create a stronger community foundation.
New Castle Athletics
Henry Community Health proudly supports local sports heritage through their connection with the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, while simultaneously investing in youth development as the Official Sponsor of New Castle High School Athletics—a partnership that promotes physical activity and wellness among students while strengthening community bonds.
Boar’s Head Provisions
Henry Community Health is proud to partner with Boar’s Head Provisions of New Castle to provide breast cancer screenings and mammograms to uninsured or underinsured women in Henry County. For several years, Boar’s Head has conducted fundraising efforts with their team members to raise awareness and funds to support women in the Henry County community. The company matches the funds their team members raise each year and donates the proceeds to the foundation. Every year this funding provides life saving screening for women of Henry County.
Suburban Health Organization
Henry Community Health is proud to partner with Suburban Health Organization (SHO). Sho is composed of independent hospitals and community-based healthcare providers working together to improve access to the highest quality healthcare possible.
