Sleep care
Research shows that most Americans don’t get sufficient sleep or high-quality sleep, and the results cause more car accidents and contribute to poor mental health and overall wellness. Fixing your sleep issue isn’t as simple as turning off your phone. Henry Community Health’s Sleep Center provides clinically proven diagnosis and treatment for many sleep disorders and causes of restlessness.

Sleep care by the numbers
Sleep care treatments
High-quality sleep isn’t a luxury. It’s one of the three pillars of well-being, along with exercise and nutrition. At HCH, we treat disrupted sleep like the serious problem it is, whether it’s caused by a disorder like narcolepsy or apnea or rooted in a related issue, physical or mental. Our Sleep Center experts use a range of science-backed studies to make an accurate diagnosis so our trained sleep specialists can lead you to a restful recovery.
We have a wide range of options at our disposal to find the solution that works best for you.
- Adult sleep studies
- BiPAP
- CPAP
- Overnight oximetry
- Oxygen flow measurements
- Pediatric sleep studies
Overnight oximetry
This overnight exam is performed at home and measures blood oxygen level and heart rate while you sleep.
Sleep studies
At HCH, we offer four types of sleep studies to fit your needs:
- At home: This type of sleep study you can do at home. It involves wearing a breathing device overnight to collect data for our specialists to analyze.
- MSLT: This daytime study is conducted at our sleep center, and it’s done to gauge how long it takes you to fall asleep.
- Polysomnography: This overnight study was done on-site at our sleep center and involved monitoring brain activity, breathing, and vital signs.
- Split night: This common overnight test in our sleep lab has two parts. It starts by diagnosing whether you have sleep apnea and then involves applying treatment if you test positive.
These sleep studies help diagnose several conditions, including:
- Insomnia
- Narcolepsy
- Night terrors
- Nocturnal panic attacks
- Periodic limb movement disorder
- Restless leg syndrome
- Sleep apnea
- Sleep-related seizure disorder
