Long-awaited facility brings comprehensive medical services to Knightstown community

Henry Community Health is proud to announce the opening of its newest healthcare facility, the John D. Pidgeon Henry Community Health Knightstown Campus, opening its doors to patients on September 22, 2025. The new campus represents a significant expansion of healthcare services for the Knightstown community and surrounding areas.

The state-of-the-art facility will offer comprehensive medical services including:

  • Primary Care featuring Dr. Steve Miller, Ashley Razor, NP, and Dreu Doerstler, NP, providing family and internal medicine and preventive care services.
  • Orthopedics with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Clay Strong and foot and ankle surgeon Dr. Wil Adams, offering specialized surgical and non-surgical treatment for musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Women’s Health services through OBGYN specialist Dr. Bruce Benninger, providing comprehensive gynecological and obstetric care.
  • Urology services addressing specialized urological health needs for both men and women.

Campus Named in Honor of Dedicated Board Leader

The facility has been named the John D. Pidgeon Henry Community Health Knightstown Campus in recognition of Mr. John Pidgeon’s extraordinary dedication to Henry Community Health. Mr. Pidgeon, who currently serves as the Chairman of the Henry Community Health Board of Trustees, has held various leadership positions in his remarkable 53 years of service. 

“John Pidgeon’s unwavering commitment to our organization and the communities we serve has been instrumental in our growth and success,” said Brian Ring, president and CEO. “Naming this campus in his honor reflects our deep appreciation for his decades of leadership and vision.”

Community Open House Scheduled

The community is invited to celebrate the opening of the new campus at a special open house event on September 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Tour the new medical facility
  • Meet the healthcare providers and staff
  • Enjoy refreshments
  • Participate in family-friendly activities
