Meet Brittany Klein. Brittany and her husband welcomed their first child at Henry Community Health Women and Children’s Unit located at Henry Community Health Hospital – Main Campus in 2023, and are now expecting their second child. They live in Mooreland and originally chose HCH since it was close to home, but once here they knew this was the right place to deliver their first baby. In this video, they share what the experience of giving birth at HCH is really like.

Brittany: I have Elliot. She is two. She was born in August of 23. Me and my husband have been married since 2022.
So, what brought me to Henry Community was obviously how close it is to home. We live in Mooreland, so almost on the county line.
One thing that stood out to me during my pregnancy and delivery here was the aftercare. The nurses were phenomenal. And then the lactation specialist, she was very awesome.
First-time mom, I didn’t know if I could breastfeed and HCH offers a prenatal class and breastfeeding class. Me and my husband, first-time parents. No one in my family ever breastfed or anything like that. So, kind of a new world.
I would describe the nurses as caring. Every birthing story is different. Mine was just very easy. The nurses and doctor were just fantastic. Everybody pretty much just catered to what I needed and it was just phenomenal.
We are about to have our second baby. This time around, HCH has a couple new doctors and a midwife. So, that is different from when I had my daughter Elliot. So far, I have had great interactions with all of the doctors. HCH has been such a great and positive experience for us. So, I’m just excited to see what this delivery has in hold for us.
I am Brittany Klein and I am a confident HCH mom.
