We heard you. Parents told us that when a child gets sick, waiting for a callback or waiting in cue on the phone only adds stress to an already stressful morning. So we built a better way.

Starting October 5th, established pediatric patients at Northfield Park can simply walk in for same-day treatment of acute illness — no appointment, no phone call, no waiting in cue required.

Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Who Can Use the Walk-In Clinic? 

This clinic is designed exclusively for established patients — children who already see a pediatrician/pediatric provider at Northfield Park. If your child has an existing relationship with our practice, you’re all set to walk right in.

What We Treat

The Sick Child Walk-In Clinic is built for same-day, acute illness visits, including:

  • Fever
  • Sore throat
  • Ear pain
  • Cough and cold symptoms
  • Rashes
  • Pink eye
  • Vomiting/diarrhea

What This Clinic Is Not For

To keep the walk-in clinic running efficiently for sick visits, please note that the following should still be scheduled as regular appointments:

  • Well child exams
  • Sports physicals
  • Routine follow-up appointments
  • Medication checks
  • Chronic condition management
  • Routine immunizations
