Brooklyn: I’m Brooklyn Abrams and I’m a proud HCH mom.
Me and my husband live here in Henry County. We have five boys. Never would have imagined having five. My husband always before we had any kids told me he wanted five boys for a basketball team and he manifested it. But I love every second of it.
I delivered all five of my kids here at Henry Community Health. I’ve had great experiences with everyone here. The midwife really stood out.
Chrissy really made this experience amazing. I didn’t even know that like midwives were allowed like at the hospital. So, I thought that was pretty cool to have her there. She like asked if there was like anything I expected and made sure like everything that I wanted and needed happened for me.
The second like our fifth was placed like on my chest, she grabbed one of our phones and like snapped a photo and that was like the best moment I found. It’s like my favorite picture from any of their births and it was just super sweet.
I feel like the nurses were really great at like trying to balance like my rest and also like my care because I feel like that can be kind of tough. I always felt respected and heard. They never pushed me in like one direction and respected what I wanted. I would just thank the staff for helping me deliver five healthy boys.
