As you go through your pregnancy journey you might experience a cold, headache, cough nausea, constipation, or indigestion, and it’s hard to know what medications you can and cannot take while pregnant. While it’s best to first attempt “non-drug-treatment”, such as lying down or a cold/hot compress, this blog aims to provide you with a list of pregnancy safe medications for when non-drug-treatment doesn’t resolve the problem.

We hope this list helps you feel prepared to take on any symptoms you may have while pregnant. As a reminder, please do not take these common over the counter medications while pregnant – Aspirin (unless prescribed 81mg), NSAIDS, Sinutab, Ex Lax, Motrin, Advil, Ibuprofen, and Sodium Bicarbonate.
