I discovered my calling in medicine later in life than most. Currently celebrating 37 years of marriage with four grown children. Our family also includes two furry sons: Murphy (a Golden Retriever) and Cooper (a Morkie). I enjoy diving into history books, appreciating all genres of music, spending time at the beach, being pulled along on walks by Murphy, and continuously deepening my faith journey.

Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
I chose a career in healthcare because I loved the sciences of medicine, anatomy, and physiology and being able to use them to work with and help people.
Why did you choose to work at HCH?
I chose HCH because I enjoy working with salt-of-the-earth, small-town folks. The administrative and medical staff are great. My good friend and current partner was offered a position here, and they asked him if he knew anyone else who might want to join – that’s how I got connected with this opportunity.
