Imaging & Lab Test Results
Most tests take 24-36 hours to complete. Our office will call you if your imaging or lab test results are abnormal. You may call our office if you have questions about your results. Patients enrolled with MyHealtheLife patient portal should receive results more quickly through a secure email message letting them know the results are available on their MyHealtheLife patient portal.
When calling the office for refills on medications, please allow 24-48 hours for processing. If you are participating in MyHealtheLife, our online patient portal, you may submit requests online for medication refills. With the exception of controlled substances, your refill request should be sent to your pharmacy before the end of the day. If your request is made after 3 pm on a business day, we will submit your request the next business day.
Medication Refills Controlled Substance Prescriptions
Our office follows federal guidelines for controlled substances. No refills of controlled substances are given after office hours or on weekends. For medication refills of controlled substances, your provider may require you to schedule an appointment before we refill the prescription(s).
Depending on the controlled substance you may need to pick up the prescription at our office as some cannot be called in to a pharmacy. When you call in for this refill, you must identify who will pick up this prescription otherwise the prescription cannot be released from our office. Identification and signature is required.
