Making books part of a healthy childhood
Growing up healthy means growing up with books. Our practice participates in Reach Out and Read® which is a national non-profit organization that encourages reading by giving new books to children and advice to parents about the importance of reading aloud to their children.
Access and exposure to books beginning in infancy is critical for a child’s development as well as their success in school and in life.
In our program, your child will receive new, age appropriate books during your child’s regular well child check from six months through five years of age.
Potential sponsors, whether professional or individual, wishing to donate to our Reach Out and Read (ROR) program, are always appreciated. Any level of support is welcomed, as 100% of your donation will go toward the purchase of new books. We also accept gently used books to be used in our waiting and exam rooms! Contact our office today to speak with our Reach Out and Read Coordinator!
