Lab services

You do not need an appointment to get blood work done at the Hospital, Northfield Park, Forest Ridge, or Healthlink locations. If you are looking to get lab work done at our Middletown, Knightstown, Cambridge City, or Draper locations, you will need to call to set up an appointment.

The length of time it takes to receive lab work results will vary depending on the type of testing. For common blood tests, you may see results in your portal in as little as 24 hours. For more in depth testing, it may take up to 7 days to receive the results.

The best way to prepare for bloodwork is to ask if it is a fasting or non-fasting test. If non-fasting, you can come in at any time without any formal prep. If it’s a fasting test, we recommend you do not eat or drink anything for 10-12 hours before getting bloodwork drawn.

TIP: Always ensure you are hydrated before getting bloodwork done!
