Amy M. Carter, MD

I am a Family Medicine physician with over 25 years experience. I focus on educating and empowering patients to do what they can to improve their health and prolong their functional status or health span. I am a certified Functional Medicine practitioner which means that I try to find the root cause of illness rather than just prescribing treatment. I expect my patients to explore restorative avenues to improve their health in partnership with me. I enjoy providing care for all ages. I am adventurous and enjoy traveling, camping, and learning new skills.
