I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a passion for caring for women throughout every stage of life. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse in the ICU, emergency department, and labor and delivery. These experiences gave me a broad clinical background and strengthened my appreciation for compassionate, patient-centered care. I strive to create a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and discussing their concerns. Patient education is especially important to me, and I want every woman to leave her appointment feeling heard, respected, and confident in her care and the decisions regarding her care. I am married and have three children. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, traveling, camping, and spending time with my family.

Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
I chose healthcare because I have always felt called to care for and support others during some of life’s most vulnerable and meaningful moments. My experiences in labor and delivery led to a special passion for women’s health. I love building relationships with patients, helping them better understand their health, and empowering them to be active participants in their care.
Why did you choose to work at HCH?
As a New Castle native, the opportunity to return home and care for women in the community that helped shape me is incredibly meaningful. I chose Henry Community Health because of its strong commitment to compassionate, community-focused care. I am excited to serve the women of Henry County and work alongside a team that shares my dedication to providing an excellent patient experience.
