Chrissy Honig, CNM, MSN
I am a certified nurse midwife that worked in labor and delivery for over 10 years. I fell in love with women’s health and the process of assisting patients with growing their families. It’s not always easy to have a baby. The process is different for everyone. I am passionate about personalized care and working with families to meet their desires for birth in a safe and individualized way.
About Chrissy Honig
Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
I went into healthcare because I had a baby at 25 weeks and he needed a lot of care in the hospital. I wanted to be one of those people who were helping others through such trials. I love to connect with people and meet them wherever they are in life. I wanted to be part of improving the healthcare system and women’s health outcome
Why did you choose to work at HCH?
I love the community feel among the hospital staff and the people who live here. I was drawn to that sense of family that comes with a community hospital.
