I am a born-and-raised Hoosier who grew up in Southern Indiana and settled down in Fishers with my husband. We have three wonderful children and a golden retriever dog. I truly adore my career in orthopedic surgery because it is challenging and rewarding to be able to see patients improve their quality of life. I love spending time with my family, reading, crafting, hiking, and yoga. I also really enjoy writing as a creative outlet and have published a children’s book with hopes of pursuing more publications.

Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
Ultimately I chose a career in healthcare due to my desire to help people. I love to know that I have the opportunity to help patients achieve reduced pain with increased mobility. I really enjoy getting to know my patients and determining a personalized plan to help patients achieve their goals regarding their joint pain.
Why did you chose to work at HCH?
I absolutely adore my career here at HCH. I started working here while in the emergency department and continued my career in the wonderful specialty of orthopedic surgery in 2014. HCH has a very community-focused culture which makes practicing medicine here feel like you are caring for family. I am very fortunate to work with the best of the best when it comes to kind and compassionate people who are at the top of their field.
