I was the first person in my family to attend college and the only one to pursue a career in the medical field. I grew up in the small town of Selma, Indiana, and graduated from Wapahani High School. I continued my education at Ivy Tech Community College, where I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing. I later attended Western Governors University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2024.
My nursing background is primarily in labor and delivery, with additional experience in primary care, geriatrics, and long-term care.
In 2017, I married my best friend. Together, we have three beautiful daughters and a goldendoodle named Duke. We are a big sports family! My husband is a girls’ high school basketball coach, and our daughters are involved in basketball, softball, and dance.
Outside of my career, I enjoy gardening, caring for my houseplants, reading, traveling, and, most importantly, being present and making memories with my family. I most look forward to our annual trips to Christmas at the Zoo and spring break in Florida.

Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
Helping those in need has always been something I have truly enjoyed. One of the most rewarding parts of working in healthcare is having the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of those around you.
Why did you choose to work at HCH?
I spent six years working in Labor and Delivery at Henry Community Health, where I learned first hand the value of caring for patients in a community that truly feels like home. My time there deepened my appreciation for the relationships built through caring for the people and families in my own community. I also received excellent care as a patient when I delivered my daughter at Henry Community Health.
