I started my career at HCH in 2005 as a patient care tech. I became an RN in 2009 then an FNP in 2018. I came to HCH in 2023 to work as hospitalist and then in Immediate care. I’m married with 5 children and have lived in New Castle my entire life.

Why did you decide to go into healthcare?
I was in college for accounting and working at a bank. One day I was driving and came across a woman who had ran off the road into the ditch. She was unconscious and called EMS and stayed with her until they arrived. I liked the feeling of helping people and afterwards decided to apply as a patient care tech at HCH.
Why did you chose to work at HCH?
I came back to HCH because I like the small town hospital vibe and get to care for patients from my home town.
