HCH has leveled out and holding steady in the number of COVID hospitalizations. Today, we have a census of 39 with 9 COVID+ patients-7 unvaccinated and 2 vaccinated. We have had 1 COVID death this week. The vaccine is our best defense against COVID-19. Walk-in to Immediate Care @ Northfield Park to receive the vaccine. The COVID Booster clinic is open at the hospital for those eligible. You can schedule an appointment by calling 211 or registering at ourshot.in.gov. Walk-ins are welcome. Remember to continue to wear a mask, wash your hands and socially distance to reduce your risk of exposure.
